Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well incorporated.
  3. Stir in the shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and crushed nuts if using.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate for at least an hour to firm up.
  6. Once set, roll the snowballs in additional coconut or powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

These snowballs are perfect for parties and can be stored in the fridge for about a week or frozen for up to three months in an airtight container. Enjoy them chilled or at room temperature.
