Ingredients
  

For the Spaghetti
  • 12 oz Spaghetti
For the Meat Sauce
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 14.5 oz Canned tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated For topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
Cooking the Sauce
  1. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Simmer the sauce for about 15-20 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve the meat sauce over the spaghetti and top with grated parmesan cheese.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for about 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat on the stovetop or in the microwave. Pro tip: Don't skip toasting the garlic for better flavor.
