- Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on ungreased cookie sheets.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
- Let them cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again before serving.
Notes
For a more intense flavor, try different extracts like almond or hazelnut. These cookies can be made ahead of time by refrigerating the dough.
