  • 1/2 cup shelled pumpkin seeds (salted or unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds (salted or unsalted)
  • 1/4 cup uncooked rice or quinoa Use gluten-free grains if needed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (or seasoning of choice)
  • Water as needed Add gradually until the mixture is moist

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, uncooked rice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Gradually add water until the mixture is moist but not too wet.
  4. Spread the mixture thinly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crisp, flipping halfway through.
  6. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. Add cayenne pepper for spiciness or use different seeds for variety.
