  • 1 cup shredded cheese Any variety like cheddar or mozzarella

  • 1 cup bread cubes or mixed vegetables Optional for added texture and nutrition

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked sausage, followed by any optional bread or vegetables.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the top and sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can assemble the casserole the night before and bake it in the morning for easy prep. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
