  • 1 lb sausage Savory sausage, any type preferred.
  • 6 eggs eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Cheddar or your favorite variety.
Optional Ingredients
  • 2 cups bread cubes Day-old bread works best.
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables Choose your favorites.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until frothy.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked sausage, bread cubes (if using), and vegetables.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layers, then sprinkle with cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

This casserole is great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to a month. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
