  • 1/2 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil Coconut oil adds a subtle sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup water Ensure it's at room temperature for better mixing.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the gluten free flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, apple cider vinegar, and water, then stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the cake cool before serving.

Notes

Drizzle melted chocolate ganache on top or dust with powdered sugar for serving. Pair with vanilla ice cream for an elevated experience. Store wrapped tightly at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for about a week. Freeze individual slices for up to 3 months.
