Preparation
  1. Bake red velvet cake following the package instructions. Let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. The finer, the better!
  3. Add the cream cheese frosting and mix until well combined. It should be moldable.
Assembly
  1. Form small balls (about 1 inch) and place them on a baking sheet. Chill for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  2. Melt your candy coating according to package instructions.
  3. Dip each ball in the melted coating and place on parchment paper. Add sprinkles before they set.
  4. Let them cool completely before serving.
