Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 12 rolls 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Can be substituted with plant-based cheese for a vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices Feel free to mix with salami or your choice of toppings.
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing) Brushing helps for a golden finish.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half to create top and bottom halves.
Assembly
  1. On the bottom half of the rolls, layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, pizza sauce, green bell pepper, and onion.
  2. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  3. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Cooking
  1. Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  2. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Leftover sliders can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to a month. For reheating, use the oven at 350°F.
