Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut circles that will fit your muffin tin.
- In a bowl, mix the apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and salt. Stir until the apples are well coated.
Assembly
- Place the dough circles into the muffin tin.
- Fill each crust with the apple mixture, leaving some room for the joy to bubble over.
- Add a dab of butter on top of the filling in each pie.
Baking
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool a bit, and then enjoy!
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
