- In a slow cooker, add the beef stew meat, onion, garlic, and mushrooms.
- Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the top.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the beef is super tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For thicker sauce, mix a bit of xanthan gum before serving. Can substitute beef with chicken or pork. For a plant-based option, use mushrooms or jackfruit as base.
