- In a large pot or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the pasta and pour in the milk. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Follow the package instructions until the pasta is al dente and the sauce thickens (about 10-12 minutes).
- Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and let the dish sit for a couple of minutes to thicken further.
- Scoop it onto plates and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Perfect pasta isn’t a gamble: stir often as it cooks to prevent clumping. This dish can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, and can be made ahead of time. To reheat, add a splash of milk for the creamy texture.
