Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 F).
- Warm the honey in the microwave or on the stove.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the honey, coconut oil, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add your sunflower seeds to the bowl and stir to coat evenly.
- Spread the coated seeds onto a lined baking tray in a single layer.
Roasting
- Roast in the oven for about 5 minutes, stirring gently halfway through.
- Continue roasting for another 5-10 minutes until they are dark golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week, or in the fridge for longer freshness. Adjust sweetness with more honey if desired. Experiment with spices like cayenne for a kick.
