  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
  3. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder; mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the batter in the prepared pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  2. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  3. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped brownies.
