Preparation
- Rinse the lentils under cold water and soak them in water for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Drain and rinse the lentils, then blend them with 2 cups of water until smooth.
- Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin to the blended mixture.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with olive oil.
- Pour the lentil mixture into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is firm and lightly browned.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Bread can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or frozen for about three months. Reheat by toasting or microwaving.
