Preparation

- In another bowl, combine the coconut sugar, applesauce, melted coconut oil, and almond milk.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and stir until just combined.
- Scoop small amounts of dough and roll them into bite-sized balls.
- Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While still warm, roll the churro bites in a mix of cinnamon and coconut sugar.
- Serve warm and enjoy your guilt-free treats!
Notes
Chill the dough slightly before rolling for easier handling and a better texture. You can swap almond flour with oat flour for a gluten-free alternative if needed. Don’t be shy with the cinnamon sugar coating.
