Preparation
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Don’t forget to drain the excess fat!
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until everything’s well mixed.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread a slice of cocktail rye bread on a baking sheet and top each with the meat mixture.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-5 days in an airtight container. For freezing, they’ll stay good for about 2-3 months. Reheat in the oven to maintain cheesiness.
