Preparation
- Slice the entire block of rolls in half without separating them.
- Remove the top half and set it aside. Place the bottom half in a greased 9×12 baking pan.
- Layer a slice of ham and half a slice of cheese on each roll.
Buttery Topping
- In a microwavable bowl, heat the butter for about 30 seconds or until melted.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
Baking
- Brush the top of the rolls with the buttery mixture.
- Loosely cover with foil and bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts and the tops are golden brown.
Notes
Serve warm with a side of crunchy pickles or fresh salad. For a kick, add hot sauce or sweet and tangy dipping sauce. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days, reheating in the oven.
