Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 1 package Savory Butter Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
  • 12 slices black forest ham
  • 6 slices Havarti cheese
  • 4 tbsp salted butter for the topping
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce optional
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder optional
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the entire block of rolls in half without separating them.
  2. Remove the top half and set it aside. Place the bottom half in a greased 9×12 baking pan.
  3. Layer a slice of ham and half a slice of cheese on each roll.
Buttery Topping
  1. In a microwavable bowl, heat the butter for about 30 seconds or until melted.
  2. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
Baking
  1. Brush the top of the rolls with the buttery mixture.
  2. Loosely cover with foil and bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with a side of crunchy pickles or fresh salad. For a kick, add hot sauce or sweet and tangy dipping sauce. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days, reheating in the oven.
