Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds for gooey cookies.
