  • 1 cup flaxseeds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (optional) For extra flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and salt. If using, add the dried herbs for that extra flavor kick!
  3. Pour in the water and stir until everything is well combined.
  4. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes until it thickens.
Baking
  1. Pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
  3. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before breaking into pieces.

Notes

These crackers are best stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. You can freeze them, and to restore their crunch, warm them in the oven for a few minutes.
