  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter
  • 1 can refrigerated dough (crescent roll or biscuit dough)

  • Optional toppings: chopped parsley or extra cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese and garlic butter until melted.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut it into squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each square.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm, drizzled with additional garlic butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch: Brush the tops with a bit of olive oil before baking. You can also use ground turkey or chicken as a substitute. Add spices like paprika for extra flavor.
