Ingredients
  

Dough and Cheese
  • 1 lb pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
Garlic Butter Mixture
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Toast for flavor enhancement
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce For dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into small squares.
  3. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
  4. Pinch the dough to seal it, then shape it into a ball.
  5. Arrange the dough balls in a football shape on a baking sheet.
  6. In a bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic, parsley, oregano, and salt.
  7. Brush this mixture over the dough balls.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

This dish is great for parties and can be made in advance. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to a month. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
