Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Blend with xanthan gum
  • 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Cold Butter cubed or grated, use cold for flakiness
  • 3/4 cup Milk (or Dairy-Free Alternative)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add the milk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix!
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat it into a 3/4-inch thick rectangle.
  6. Use a biscuit cutter or a sharp knife to cut out biscuits, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter if desired.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Store in the fridge for about 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a warm oven for best texture.
