  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz) Secret weapon for creamy texture
  • 1 cup bacon bits Add more for extra crunch if desired
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For cheesy goodness
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
  3. Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Once done, shred the chicken using two forks and mix it with the cream cheese and seasoning.
  3. Stir in the bacon bits and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  4. Top with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes. For a lighter option, replace cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
