Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • optional Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Cooking Noodles
  1. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  2. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Once noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted and combined.
Finishing Touch
  1. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing everything together.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge. Can be reheated on the stove or in the microwave. Freezes well for 2-3 months.
