  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Add more for toppings if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes, beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring everything to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the milk and cheddar cheese until the cheese melts and the mixture becomes creamy.
