Cookie Ingredients
  • 70 g Brown Sugar
  • 70 g Sugar
  • 115 g Butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 220 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
Frosting Ingredients
  • 90 g Butter (softened)
  • 90 g Cream Cheese
  • 250 g Icing Sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Gradually stir in the plain flour, cornflour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until it’s a smooth dough.
Baking
  1. Scoop out dollops of dough onto a baking tray.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
Frosting
  1. While cooling, whip up the cream cheese frosting by mixing softened butter and cream cheese, then adding icing sugar until fluffy.
Serving
  1. Frost your cooled cookies and enjoy!

Notes

Tip: Chill your dough for a few minutes before baking for an extra chewy texture. Serve warm with ice cream or drizzle with caramel for added indulgence!
