  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce Use low-sodium for a healthier option.
  • 1/4 cup beef broth Consider red wine for a richer flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Toasted garlic adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces For a richer taste.
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the steak dry with paper towels to ensure a nice sear when cooked.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper to create the marinade.
Cooking
  1. Place the steak in the slow cooker, pour the marinade over it, and stir to coat evenly.
  2. Top the mixture with pieces of butter.
  3. Cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours until the steak is tender.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or as an appetizer.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove.
