Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage You can use either ground beef or sausage.
Base Ingredients
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Choose your favorite cheese blend.
  • 1 cup cream cheese Softened for easier mixing.
  • 1-2 jalapeños, diced Adjust to heat preference.
For Serving
  • as needed Tortilla chips or veggies Use for dipping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Don’t forget to drain that excess fat.
  2. In a crockpot, combine the cooked meat, diced tomatoes, cream cheese, jalapeños, and shredded cheese.
  3. Stir well to combine all those glorious flavors.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally until the cheese is melted and your dip is hot and bubbly.
  2. Serve warm with tortilla chips or colorful veggies for dipping.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container. For meal prep, it can be frozen for up to a month.
