- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, roughly 1 inch in diameter.
Cooking
- Place the meatballs in the crockpot.
- Pour the French onion soup over the meatballs.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and cover until melted.
