  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season to your taste before serving.
  • Parmesan cheese Optional for serving.
  • Fresh parsley Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  4. About 20 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  5. Once cooked, drain the pasta and serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta.
  6. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat after thawing in the fridge overnight. Add crushed red pepper flakes for a kick or substitute chickpeas for a vegan version.
