  • 8 oz pasta (such as penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until they’re tender.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the shredded cheese and cook until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-5 days. If preparing ahead, make pasta and sauce separately. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave, adding a splash of cream if needed to maintain creaminess.
