  • 6 slices slices of bacon Crispy, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) For cheesy goodness
  • 6 large eggs Key ingredient for binding
  • 2 cups frozen hash browns Alternatively, use fresh hash browns
  • 1 cup milk To combine with eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning
  • Optional: chopped green onions or bell peppers For garnish and added color

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet, let cool, and chop into pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the crispy bacon, hash browns, and cheese to the egg mixture. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
  7. Garnish with optional green onions or bell peppers before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. You can freeze it—slice it ahead of time and reheat in the microwave or oven.
