- Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
Cooking
- In your crockpot, add the chicken at the bottom.
- Pour in the cream of chicken soup and broth, and sprinkle over the seasonings.
- Add your chopped veggies if using.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Pull out the chicken and shred it. Mix it back into the crockpot before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat on the stove or microwave until piping hot. For variations, use turkey or make a vegan version with chickpeas and vegetable broth.
