Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Assembly
- Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into the heart-shaped molds, spreading it to cover the bottom.
- Add a small amount of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate in the molds.
- Cover the peanut butter layer with more melted chocolate, ensuring it is sealed.
- If desired, add sprinkles on top for that extra flair.
Freezing
- Freeze for about 30 minutes until set.
- Carefully remove the hearts from the molds and serve.
Notes
Serve these beauties on a pretty platter and enjoy with a glass of cold milk or hot chocolate. Store in the fridge for about a week or freeze for up to three months.
