Ingredients
  

Brownie Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted for the batter.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced For topping.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips For the ganache.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For the ganache.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until everything is combined.
  4. Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the brownies cool in the pan.
Ganache and Topping
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream, stirring until smooth to create the ganache.
  2. Once the brownies are cool, top them with sliced strawberries and pour the chocolate ganache over the top.
  3. Allow the ganache to set before slicing into squares and serving.

Notes

For a creamier ganache, use a bit more heavy cream. These brownies can be made vegan by using flax eggs and plant-based butter.
