Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until everything is combined.
- Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan.
Ganache and Topping
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream, stirring until smooth to create the ganache.
- Once the brownies are cool, top them with sliced strawberries and pour the chocolate ganache over the top.
- Allow the ganache to set before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
For a creamier ganache, use a bit more heavy cream. These brownies can be made vegan by using flax eggs and plant-based butter.
