  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the black beans, refried beans, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salsa, garlic powder, and cumin. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and top with green onions if desired.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

This dip keeps well in the fridge for about 3-4 days. For best results, reheat in the oven or microwave until warm. It can also be frozen for up to 2 months. Consider adding jalapeños or different cheeses for variations.
