  • 1 egg

For the Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup For drizzling

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Mix in maple syrup, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto baking sheets.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Glazing
  1. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with maple syrup until smooth.
