  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 12 pieces slider buns
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onions until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create the sauce.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the cooked beef mixture on the buns, add a slice of cheese, pickles, and drizzle with the sauce.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts and the buns are lightly toasted.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For variations, consider using ground turkey for a healthier option, adding extra toppings such as sautéed mushrooms or jalapeños, and toasting the buns for extra crunch. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for 1-2 months.
