Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce
  • 12 oz Spaghetti Cooked until al dente
  • 24 oz Marinara sauce For layering
  • 8 oz Mozzarella cheese For topping
Meatballs
  • 1 lb Ground beef or turkey Use your preferred meat
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs For binding the meatballs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated for flavor
  • 1 Egg To bind the mixture
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For browning meatballs
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper To taste
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning For flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground meat with breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Form into meatballs.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
  2. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce. Add the cooked spaghetti and meatballs on top. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  3. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Consider adding a sprinkle of fresh basil for garnish. Pair with a green salad and some garlic bread.
