Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place the wrapped tenders in a baking dish.
- Pour the brown sugar mixture generously over the chicken tenders.
Cooking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the baking dish to ensure each tender gets crispy. For spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze. Can substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu.
