Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Dill pickles (or any type of pickles you prefer) Sliced to desired thickness
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko) Seasoned with salt and pepper
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Cooking spray or oil For air frying

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the pickles to your desired thickness.
  3. Set up a breading station: add the flour to one bowl, beaten eggs to another, and breadcrumbs seasoned with salt and pepper in a third bowl.
Breading and Frying
  1. Dip each pickle slice first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat well.
  2. Place the breaded pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Spray lightly with cooking spray or oil.
  4. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, don’t rush the breading process and make sure every pickle is well-coated. Experiment with spices for added flavor and consider using thinner pickles for a delicate crunch.
